reggieche.jpgThere have been a couple of worthwhile Wii news today, and since yours truly just went back to college, you get them all in super condensed form. Think of it as space food for news, pick your capsule!

There’s a rumor floating around for the second time that the Wii will sport some sort of voice-to-text communication software. Where if you shout into a microphone the Wii translates it into on-screen text, big all caps red text. You know, because caps mean you’re serious.

Reggie ‘The reggienator’ Fils-Aime had an interview with USA Today, today. Highlights:

  • Reggie says ‘do not want!’ to Wii60, no comment on PSwii though.
  • On the Gamecube’s lack of online: ‘wasn’t me!’.
  • On price and date: Zilch! Pure PR talk.
  • On the competition: ‘The DS owns you all, 5 to 1′.
  • On drinking baby’s blood… oh wait thats just me, I’m thirsty.

IGN posted about a commentary by the Nikko Citigroup, analysts who have said that they expect the Wii to be priced at ¥19,800 which is $170 USD.

And last but not least, apparently Nintendo is developing a diet software, which will undoubtably include some sort of Wiixercise (you heard it here first, Wiixercise).

Now off I go, I have to get acquainted with a fellow named homework.
