Who says gaming will take you nowhere? Just ask the guys from the Final Boss Halo 2 team, they just got payed 1 million dollars when Major League Gaming signed them up! Being the country’s top Halo 2 team its no surprise that they should get the best attention, but beyond the story of these lucky bastards lies a deeper more important story. Professional gaming is starting to draw the big bucks, the media is starting to listen up.

Perhaps in a near future some ESPN channel (probably ESPN 143623 which would also cover competitive knitting and food fight championships) will be airing the latest Unreal Tournament Tournament. Maybe, just maybe you will be able to prove to grandma that all those days spent playing videogames didn’t rot your brain… or your brain did rot but you are filthy rich!
