Taking the pointless fun of the achievements system to a whole new level, Fable 2 is offering up achievements for doing pretty much anything, including some deviant sexual and violent acts. The full list is here.

They range the gamut from “The Swinger,” earning 5 gamerpoints for engaging in a “responsible” orgy (virtual condoms?), to “The Hunter,” giving you 5 gamerpoints for killing a defenseless little bunny.

I can’t say I’m thrilled about this development and don’t really like to go out of my way to do extra things in games outside the main plot events, but for fans of more open games like Fable, it makes total sense to reward those who go the extra mile to explore all the possibilities of the world.
