Videogame Voice Acting: Worst Moments
Friday 13 November 2009 @ 12:35 am | By Ivan 'Nahu' Lozano 9 CommentsWe’ve all heard horrible voice acting, for crying out loud, we love anime and there’s hardly a better example of horrible voice acting than english dubbed anime. Games are no exception though, specially during the days of the PSX and the early years of the PS2. Here’s a video compilation of some of Videogame’s worst voice acting moments.
It becomes pretty obvious pretty fast that bad voice acting is out there and there’s plenty of it, but that there’s also a huge amount of horrendous dialogue to begin with, specially Japanese games localized to english. Dear localizers, stop trying to sound like what you think a cool 13 year old sounds like. Now if you’ll excuse me “I have to stay alive and write this article before I die”.

so yeah, im not seeing (or hearing) any suikoden tierkris on there, the main character is really bad, but nothing compared to most of these. most of those lines sound like they just hired some dude to read lines from a piece of paper an hour before it was due
lol number 18 Way to go kid
you challenge me with trickeryyyy.
I think that somehow the Bible Black dub should be in here… Even if it’s an anime based off of a game
That’s pretty bad. I liked 18 too lol.
Where is Legend of Dragoon? Shana was gawd awful and let’s not get into the ‘Gust of wind, dance!’ lines…
This is so LAME!!!!!!!!!!
Wow. . . good thing I changed the voice setting to Japanese as soon as I got chaos wars.
in his blood? Way to go kid! :D
LA la la la la
that was just too annoying -___-
“Hold me if I’m dying and vice versa”? Who the hell wrote this line? hahahahahahha
Tthere HAD to be a Castle of Shikigami example; it’s famous for its horrible voice acting!
And also, no Sin and Punishment example? *frowns*
