Valkyria Chronicles To Get Anime Adaptation
Tuesday 11 November 2008 @ 11:57 pm | By Chris 'Taco' Martinkovic 9 CommentsValkyria Chronicles just hit North American and European shores recently amid no small amount of praise. Even I have been sucked into this game for the past week and have been thoroughly enjoying it. The game seems to be well on its way to “cult hit” status in the English speaking world (much like Skies of Arcadia by the same developers), but over in Japan it’s received much more love.
On top of two downloadable campaigns and an extra difficulty mode, fans of the game now have a full-length TV series to look forward to next year. A-1 Pictures is behind the animation on this one, notable this season for Kannagi and Kuroshitsuji. No details yet as to whether or not the game cast will remain, but seeing as how most of the game’s Japanese cast have had plenty of anime roles, the possibility exists.

Hurrah! Here’s to it being a worthy adaption. A-1 ought to have the right talent to do the look justice.
I wonder if they (while polishing it) will keep the same aesthetic style of the game. That would be pretty interesting to watch.

I wonder if that anime will be streaming for cell phones? REST OF COMMENT REMOVED FOR SHAMELESS ADVERTISEMENT AND LACK OF UNDERSTANDING OF HOW SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING REALLY WORKS
