Ubisoft: “Our mistake! We do have a Prince of Persia in the works!”

prince of persia wii.jpgAhaha, its so sweet when a company slips and releases info it didn’t mean to. Ubisoft confirmed today that a Prince of Persia game is, indeed, in the works for the Nintendo Wii. Rumors were abundant last week when a french press release leaked the news.

As for a release date or any other information, well we get the ol’ PR talk. “At this time we can not provide an official date for the game or any additional information about it”. Oh well, we can live with that! What really has been bothering us about this is where exactly in the timeline will this game exist? The latest Prince of Persia game The Two Thrones wrapped things up real good. I guess they can always go the way of Zelda or Final Fantasy and leave continuity for lesser games.
