TV Asahi has recently published a list of Japan’s top 100 favorite anime, which was created by an open poll on the station’s website. The list varies quite a bit with last year’s; most notably the exclusion or descend of some cult classics. The top 10 contains more recent series than last year.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is up considerably this year and thats likely because of the rebirth of the series. I cant really say we’ve watched all but 30+ of the listed titles, Velcor has probably watched most of it. This could become a nice Otaku challenge just like watching the top 100 films on IMDB.
