Released by Japans Agency for Cultural Affairs, who also released the recent Top 50 Manga of Japan, and very much like last year’s poll of top 100 anime of 2006, is a list of the top 100 anime in Japan. To much delight over those who complained of 2006 top list (although conducted by a different entity) this list has both series and movies. See how your favorite’s fair, just dont expect the newer series to beat the timeless classics.

- Laputa: Castle in the Sky
- Mobile Suit Gundam
- Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro

I despise Neon Genisis Evangelion. Most of these I’ve never seen though. Out of the one’s I have seen, I like two of them. Most I don’t like.
I DO NOT like Full Metal Alchem
@Khaim
Fullmetal is actually one of the ones I like.
Ive never been a huge fan of evangelion myself, it was a cool series but Ive always think its overrated. Ive seen most of these, pretty much all the classics, so for once Im satisfied with the list.
So basically, Studio Ghibli PWNS Japanese animation.
Yeah… didn’t see that one coming! =P
But nice to see the kids/otaku vote for Oharumi-sama, yay ^_^
Heidi, Girl of the Alps!1!!
FUCK YEAH SEAKING
wow this is the worth list i seen mostly all off them and im not a big fan of Evangelion or FMA but i guess the are huge in japan so wat ever
Existance is akin to a bag, it is always empty and always full, there is something in it. It sent a dog running to its master and spilt beer on its master, the master yelled “hey dog , cant you see im playing guitar”
waw awesome evangelion ^^

Nice to see The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya still holding strong ^^
Why in God’s name isn’t Wolf’s Rain in the top 50!?!?!?!
