This Monday 21st marks the 25th anniversary of the first time Link we joined link in an adventure into the land of Hyrule. With 18 official titles released on Nintendo platforms (and a hilariously awful animated show) The Legend of Zelda is undoubtedly Nintendo’s second best franchise ever and one of the best video game series of all time. It’s filled many of our childhoods with a sense of adventure and bravery, fantastic music and priceless memories. So let’s give it up for Link, Zelda & Ganon as they finally hit their mid twenties.

    Has it really been 25 years.
    I still remember when the series was young, albeit a little older than me.
