The Infamous SABAN Sailor Moon Trailer

Did you know that some time during the 90’s SABAN tried to remake Sailor Moon in a complete American style? A full pilot episode was shot, with cartoon, 3D and live action elements and well… as you can see it looks a lot more like Biker Mice from Mars than Sailor Moon. If you’ve ever needed a clearer comparison of what makes anime different from American cartoons there is probably no better example than this.
