Oh Japan, when will you accept you are but a pawn of the Sanrio corporation? This is the latest in the neverending list of Hello Kitty products, a Nec LaVie Laptop sporting The Mouthless One covered by really expensive Swarovski crystals. This little baby will set you back ¥199,500, or roughly $1600 USD, perfect for that geek girl in your life, you know, the kind that stays up until 3 a.m. coding or searching for that one rare doujinshi. Which that girl in the picture seems to do, she could use some sleep.

My girlfriend likes cute stuff but hello-kitty is a no-no for her (she like Jack Skellington instead, or perhaps Emily the Strange) perhaps my syster-in-law would like it. In any way, i think that the expensive bit of this thing is the diamonds (and talking about diamonds, the Dark Diamond Tan has yet to make a public appearance en-grande~!)
Yeah my GF is like that too, oh and those are not diamonds but crystals, also we are working on the ddn-tan section, believe me we are!
Yeah, I have to further agree that I don’t think many geek girls would want something like this in their proverbial gadget bag. I mean, it’s pink! I’m guilty of indulging in a bit of my own Swarovski love, but I’m much more fond of Chococat and even then, not on my computer! ;)
