Super smash bros. brawl leakage

Just like every other blog on gaming related news out there, I’m here to bombard you with stuff on Super Smash Bros. Brawl and spoil shit for you in the process. We’ll get to the major spoilers later. But first, the intro to the game.
I know shit loads has been put into the game and that it’s had everything thrown into it but the kitchen sink (which is probably tucked away as an unlockable), but did anyone else find that intro boring? It’s just clips from the ‘Subspace emissary’ mode and clips of in game footage. It would’ve been nice to have had some brand new intro exclusive FMV and also some sound effects. But that’s just me being a fussy bastard. On a non moaning note, I absolutely love the Nobuo Uematsu theme song. A nice reminder of why I fell for his compositions in the first place, because I didn’t like most of the shit he did for Final Fantasy IX and X.

That is a healthily sized roster if I ever saw one. There’s speculation concerning Wolf’s authenticity, but I believe he is the real deal. I would’ve preferred Krystal though. I won’t be sold on Falco, Ganondorf, Luigi and Toon Link unless they have unique move sets. If (once again) they’re just doubles of Fox, Captain Falcon, Mario and Link respectively, then they’re wastes of spaces on the character select screen and I don’t care how awesome their Brawl models look. Plus, do we really need both Lucas and Ness? And did we really need Marth back given that Ike fills the position of a blue haired warrior from Fire Emblem? I’m just glad my bitch Jigglypuff is back, along the most ghetto character of them all: Mr. Game and watch.
I want this game so much. Too bad I live in the UK.

Alright, first things first: I loved the FF X soundtrack, and I will fight you(preferably in Brawl) for mocking it ;P
Second: Thats it?! I expected to see a more impressive character roster than this. Hell, I wish that they would have left all of the Melee characters in the game.. I miss Roy and Mewtwo already. Eh, I guess im the one being the fussy bastard now. Oh well, it still looks like its going to be a great game.
About this roster. Awesome.
…And with how the characters are sorted I am under the suspicion that Tails is below Sonic, considering how different tails is as far as play style (because frankly, Shadow, if in the game, is just a variant of Sonic and good riddance). OH WAIT. …I cannot tell with my adept level skill in Japenese and this blur… that button better not be “Random”.
I mostly agree with J on most of the doubles characters; Luigi in Melee was just too worthless in most situations, even if he could do powerful precision attacks. Personally, I found Gannondorf more use than Falcon as Gannondorf was useful in power battles whereas Falcon was commonly just an easy KO. I am happy to have Zelda back, but I still ha.
Two similar characters would be better represented as slightly polygon-divergent versions of the same character, too bad they waste so much space in the menu.
…just to put it out there…Lucas is different because his attacks are easier to control…but otherwise hes the same…I just like him cuz My name is Lucas…if you want info on characters go to http://www.smashbros.com
its the official game website…it doesnt have everything (such as a complete char. list) but they have a new update every day…thanx for your time fair citizens!
…just noticed this too…look at the highlighted jigglypuff…it says purin for the name??? u shure this is real?

“Purin” is Jigglypuff’s name in Japan. Its also a tasty desert.

I want you Dark Diamond regulars to be posting your Friend codes for the game in the forums for when this arrives. It sucks there’ll be no voice chat, but it’s all good. We can still taunt it out…I guess…
