Ok, so what i said before was a bit out of date. http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/bigboxshots/7/929267_68882_front.jpg Japanese box art for Oneechanbara VorteX

The Famitsu one's Onechanbara R, which appears to be a Wiimote-focused reiteration featuring only Aya (Vortex has Aya and her younger sister (both of whom use katanas), as well as a female cop who uses guns. i can't read many Japanese kanji, so i can't say much of anything for sure

I thought "No More Heroes" is the one helping to shift the Wii's kiddy image.

If it's the newest game, it's Oneechanbara Vortex, which i was aware of only as an Xbox 360 game. I think D3 is working on localizing it to be published Stateside.

this looks a whole lot like Oneechanbara 2 from the ps2, probably because it is. i just hope they dont charge $50+ for this. i for one am not willing to pay that kind of money for a game that was made specifically to be a budget game. i dont care what system its on.

"ghetto ports of Xbox 360 and PS3 games" This is probably a direct port of the ps2 game that has been around for years now.

An interesting idea, but the gameplay is horribly generic. Not even close to Devil May Cry's which has a lot more depth to it.

I'm sure it'll be a great rental when it comes out (supposedly the 360 is getting a version as well sometime next year)
