Super Mario Strikers comming to Wii?

daisy strikers.jpgIGN reports that a Wii sequel to Super Mario Strikers, Nintendo’s football game, might be unveiled at the Leipzig Games Convention in Germany later this month. The game, developed by Next Level Games, was considered a sleeper hit as it managed to sell over 500,000 copies at the end of the Gamecube’s life.

We’re big fans of Super Mario Strikers here at DDN and, while we have yet to imagine a way for it to work with the wiimote, a sequel would be a welcome addition to the upcoming Wii games line-up. Hopefully the sequel will contain less Waluigi crotch dancing.
