Brian Dugg of Capcom’s Lost Planet blog has just released this sprite of Ken in mid-Hadoken:
The Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix seems to be very promising. Everything about Street Fighter II is going to be redone, apparently, by the same people who did the Udon comics for Street Fighter. And from the looks of it, the graphics are going to be up to par with games such as Guilty Gear. Let’s just hope that the animation is as smooth as the Street Fighter III games.

Dude, the sprites are 4.5x the size of the average GG sprite ^_^
However, the animation will likely be SF2:ST quality, since all they’re (apparently) doing is redrawing the sprites, as well as the backgrounds & healthbars etc.
It’s a 1:1 conversion with gorgeous upscaling, basically.
Still looking forward to it!
Just another reason to buy the game. At last, a “remake” that will actually look good.
Plus that whole thing about having your own kickass custom made arcade pad helps a bit huh?
Well yeah… just a little bit… :P
