Destructoid’s Faith Naked recently came up with a list of reasons why going Next-Gen at launch might be a good idea. Things such as launch titles almost always sucking (or as Faith says “last generation quality”), lack of units, and as of this generation a bad record of defective units that overheat and explode in your groin.

You know, Faith might be on to something, I missed Wii preorders and I might just wait a little bit before getting it. Hell, I might just wait for the black Wii to come out, it matches my deep and brooding attitude because I’m awesome like that. But deep inside me lies the obsessive fanboyish gamer that wants to camp out 2 weeks before launch. What do you guys think, should we be so hasty to cough up our cash?
