Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Closed Beta Signups Opened
Tuesday 4 November 2008 @ 2:57 pm | By Chris 'Taco' Martinkovic 4 CommentsFor those of you looking to scratch that Shin Megami Tensei itch and simply can’t wait until Persona 4, Aeria Games has started their closed beta signup process for the upcoming SMT MMORPG, “Imagine.” Following the closed (and subsequent open) beta, the game will remain free to play with an cash item shop.
The highly anticipated MMORPG published by Aeria Games, Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online began closed beta signup applications for North American and European members.
English-speaking fans of the Atlus Co., Ltd owned Shin Megami Tensei series (Persona, Digital Devil Saga, among others) are encouraged to register in order to preview the game before it is made available to all members of the public.
The sign ups run until December 1st, at which point e-mails will go out inviting a select number of applicants to play. There’s no small number of SMT fans among the staff here at DDN, so you can safely assume we’re psyched about this! If you, too, are excited, swing on over to the beta signup page and hope you get in!

Hopefully I’ll get in the beta. It looks pretty interesting….If a group of us gets in we’ll definitely have to take on some baddies.
Ah, I can fondly remember the long nights of grinding Quartz in the JAPANESE version…
Getting so far in it, because we were all ONE HUNDRED PERCENT SURE that the game had a ZERO PERCENT CHANCE of ever getting translated.
I’ve scarcely ever been happier to have been proven wrong!
I don’t even play online games, but i signed up for this. maybe this will change my mind towards the whole mmo crowd
I really can’t wait to see the expansion of MMO games into the cell phone sector. i would love to see a game like this released for the Motorola GENERIC PHONE #9827. Ever since I started SHAMELESSLY ADVERTISING MOTOROLA, I have became a huge fan of the GENERIC PHONE #9827, with it’s excessive list of features packed into a clamshell design with a TRENDY FEATURE OF THE YEAR. I hope my MMO Dreams come true!
