Sega have a new Tennis game in the works. Some of you may have been hoping for a new Virtua Tennis game, but instead you’ll have to make do with Sega superstars Tennis. As you may have guessed from the title, Sonic once again gets whored out like a sex slave.

I’m sick at the sight of Sonic right now. But as the proud owner of a Dreamcast it’s great to see Beat, Ulala and Amigo back again. Their appearance in their own respective sequels on Wii is long overdue. (Somebody please pass Sega the memo!) Other Sega superstars to make the cut are Virtua Fighter’s Akira Yuki, Billy Hatcher from the GameCube platformer Billy Hatcher & the giant egg and of course the under age bangin’ crew: Tails, Amy and Knuckles. I’m hoping that a couple more of the Dreamcast’s breakout stars will show their faces too. I’m rooting for the mice or the cat from Chu chu rocket, with the VMU being a secret character.

Sega superstars Tennis is based on Virtua Tennis’ engine and this alone has me wanting this game, because Virtua Tennis was robust and I absolutely loved it on the Dreamcast. We can expect some twists to the proceedings though, namely character exclusive special shots and power ups.

Sega superstar Tennis will be releasing worldwide in March for all major platforms. I think we know how this is gonna go. The Xbox 360 will feature the best online play setup, with the Wii version sporting some Wii remote action. Hopefully the Wii version will also feature online play, but it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if it didn’t.
