Neverland is bringing their Harvest Moon spin-off onto the Nintendo Wii later this year with Rune Factory Frontier. New screenshots and an official website have emerged from the depths of the internet, showcasing the extremely impressive face-lift the game has received in its platform hop.

The screens show the return of Raguna and Mint from the first Rune Factory game, which leads us to believe that this takes place sometime between the first and second. The Action/RPG elements that set the subseries apart from Harvest Moon also look fantastic. However, the first game felt like there was too much to do; Raguna would be out of stamina tending the farm before we ever even considered going cave-stomping. Hopefully this is addressed in this game.

No plans for a US release yet, but with the warm reception that the first game got it wouldn’t be surprising to find this one on our shelves sometime next year.
