Resident Evil 5 Coming to the Wii?

These days multi-platform announcements are becoming increasingly less surprising, and since we saw Resident Evil 4 on the Wii, I wouldn’t be surprised if its sequel followed suit. Apparently Sega of America’s president Simon Jeffrey blurted out the info while talking about Nintendo’s efforts to reconnect with core gamers in the future. He said, “Resident Evil 5 – when that happens on the Wii that’s going to help.”
He could have just been assuming the news rather than letting it slip, but Sega and Nintendo are such close partners these days that I bet he already would have known. And indeed, it is something for Wii-owning hardcore gamers to look forward to.

Oh boy o boy, I certainly wouldnt be surprised about this as I mentioned on my RE5 E3 report. But damn it makes me giddy just thinking about it. Of course the graphics would have to be downplayed to hell but I wouldnt care, I’m to starved and abused by Nintendo to care ;_;
I can’t wait either. Even if the graphics would have to be retooled for the Wii, this game will fun to play. Although now when I work out my new goal is have Hulk arms like Redfield.
