Reborn! for DS

Akira Amano’s Katekyo Hitman Reborn! is getting the handheld treatment and will be appearing on the Nintendo DS. For those who don’t know, Reborn! is a Japanese manga and anime about a little 1 year old Italian hitman who trains a a high school student to be a mob boss. Don’t try to make sense of it. Just look at the screenshots and think of the prospect at how cool this game could be.

There’s little to no info on this game, but judging from the screenshots it looks as though this may play similar to Jump super stars and possibly support 4 players over a Wi-Fi connection.

I doubt very much that this game will see the light of day outside of Japan. But the DS is 100% region free. So if you fancy some handheld Reborn! action, you can always import it.

Console gamers can also get in on the action, as Reborn! Dream Hyper action battle will also be releasing for the PS2 on August 30, with a Wii version set to follow shortly after.
