Quench Your Consumerist Thirst With Hello Kitty Water For $100

While we battle with the hundreds of millions of water bottles becoming trash every year and while thousands die in poor countries for the lack of clean drinking water, a Japanese bottled water company, Fillco, is releasing a Hello Kitty water bottled priced at $100 a piece.

Sure, really what you’re buying is the bottle and the people who get this will, hopefully, be collectors but Fillco has been selling luxury bottled water for many years at ridiculous prices. There’s some sort of lesson in here, I’m sure, but let’s just make fun of Hello Kitty for now, it’s less sad that way.

Those little crowns are worth at least $100 in adorability. Really, we can’t afford not to buy this water.

With five different colors available, you’d be crazy not to collect them all.
