Lots of PS3 news happened this week, what with Gamers Day going down in San Francisco and all. And as its customary when we get to busy with that pesky life to bring you the news, we’ll do a roundup. Brace yourselves!
- 21 launch titles have been announced so far, here’s a list.
- The PS3 will, allegedly, be compatible with Linux, Terra Soft’s Yellow Dog Linux distro has already announced their plans to release a version for the console.
- The SixAxis controller will be priced at $50, Sony plans to replace controllers once their batteries stop recharging as intended. Expensive! Although the full price of the Wiimote+nunchuck is $60.
- And finally a link to another roundup of bleak PS3 news including no DVD upscaling, no PS2 game enhancements and an official statement that Sony might not be able to be able to reach this year’s shipment targets, big shock!
And thats it for the PS3 so far, isn’t outsourcing fun?
