Speaking of Ubisoft, 1up just found out that the french version of today’s press release says that a Prince of Persia game is in development for the Nintendo Wii, set for release in March 2007. While this at least confirms that eventually there will be a Prince of Persia for the Wii, Ubisoft was strangely surprised to learn what their french office was up to. As they told 1up:

We saw this too and Prince of Persia is not confirmed as either a Wii launch title or a title coming out in North America in March 2007 at this time

So it might not be march, but the title was not denied! Prepare for some sword slashing, platform jumping, wall walking Prince of Persia hitting the Wii sometime from now until the end of times!
