Pokewalker: New Pokemon Remakes Come With A Little Hellish Remake

I’m having horrible flashbacks about my early teenage years… See, Nintendo is releasing remakes of Pokemon Gold & Silver, which brings it’s own issues, like making me feel old since Gold & Silver where the first Pokemon games I thought were ‘too much’, ‘just milking the franchise’ ‘for children’ and now they are so old they are getting remakes.
But no, the flashbacks I’m getting are because of a little freebie that came with the games’ release in Japan, a Pokewalker. Now this Pokewalker isnt anything fancy, just a little pokemon themed pedometer that lets you score points based on how much you walk, this device was also once known as the Pokemon Pikachu, a Tamagotchi-like device that enslaved me for a good year of my early teens. Both games are getting released in the US in March and if they come with this Pokewalker I’m afraid I’ll have a relapse.
Oh god, the guilt of not feeding my Pokemon Pikachu in over a decade is kicking in…

Ooo, a new pedometer.
Never worry, just keep moving and you will feed the little critter xD.
What we need now is a loli-themed pedometer or at the very least a gothic lolita-fashioned character in it.
Well the first 251 Pokemon were pretty cool. Then they just started getting stupid and very uncreative…
And the first game that was just “milking” the franchise was Yellow… Can’t believe I bought that shit.
Anyways… I hope the US versions of HearGold and SoulSilver come with the pedometer… It’ll take some of the hassle out of leveling up.
Yeah but the good thing about it is that it had maybe 9 different colors and has a pikachu following you. I say blue and red are a waste if they are gonna be only a few colors.
I loved the Pokemon Pickachu thing! I remember a few kids having it back in grade school and we always would be shaking them during class.
i gave up on the franchise When the pokemon started looking like digimon… (wich is a bit after silver and gold xD)
i remember owning the pokemon picachu on its both b/w and color incarnations…
