Emulation used to be an underground thing, few knew about it and even less knew how to get an emulator. But today things have gone so much simpler, why I could be playing any of over 200 NES titles online with just a few clicks. vNES is a site that will let you play NES titles online, the collection covers American, japanese and even a couple of betas that never saw the light of day.

Its basically a Java NES emulator that loads ROMS off the site. Its fun and it can save you the trouble of looking online for ROMS (of games which you already own, right guys?) of obscure games from your childhood. It can get a little sluggish at times but if you just want to lose a few minutes at the office or school, its more than enough. Check it out while I wait for someone to do a SNES one.
