Huh? There’s gaming industry news outside of E3? That’s right! This week’s Famitsu scans are in, and the big news this time around is a surprising Capcom project. Dead Rising, the hit B-Movie inspired zombie slasher from 2006 is making its way to Nintendo Wii.

The Wii version is going to be a direct port of the Xbox 360 version with some added waggle, similar to Capcom’s port of Resident Evil 4, though I doubt the graphics will be better than the source material this time around. Check after the jump for some more scans!

This is a welcome port for the Wii. Nice to see Capcom throwing some a violent bone to the Wii.

This definitely opens door for future ports of 360 Capcom games. Dead rising would rock on Wii me-thinks.
