Us otaku, we are complex creatures. We can hold encyclopedic knowledge of the most intricate details of our hobbies. We all, to some extent revere Japan and its culture for it has brought us much joy. Hey some even try and learn Japanese in order to better appreciate anime, manga and whatnot.
But for god’s sake people! When in public, unless you can actually, you know speak japanese, dont try mouthing off a few phrases in front of a camera, much less sing. It will only bring physical pain to all those who watch the video, like the one above. Be warned, it will hurt, and remember: Kawaii means cute.

Sadly when I go to a sushi restaurants I try to read the Nihongo Times and pretend to understand what the sous-chef is saying. At least when I eat I smile and say itadakimasu!
I wanna be a Tokyo Reporter.
I met with someone yesterday at work whose last name was Nippon, and I was all excited to meet a hot jap. Alas, she was a middle aged white woman.
