Original team working on the new Banjo Kazooie

Our previous fears that the new Banjo Kazooie game would be a mediocre disappointment might be mitigated, seems like the original N64 Banjo Kazooie team is leading the development of the W’s title. There’s still hope for the bear and the bird to escape the curse of mediocrity thats followed Rare as of late. But where one fear dies another is born. This all came from an Eurogamer interview which also states the following:
Responding to concerns that the “family-friendly” franchise might seem a little out of place on the decidedly ‘mature’-styled Xbox 360, Phil had the following to say:
“Certain people look at the bear and the bird and think it’s a kids’ game. What we think is that Banjo as an intellectual property has the ability to span audiences.”
Hopefully I’m wrong, but does this mean that Banjo might start keeping a shotgun next to Kazooie in that backpack?
