One Million Wii Units at Launch

wii and wiimote.jpgNintendo recently told Mackenzie Investments that they will have one million Wii units available for launch. This isn’t only Nintendo’s strongest launch ever but also a launch that will deliver more than twice the units Sony will have with the PS3. While Sony might face some shortage issues and perhaps be unable to deliver enough units for the holidays, Nintendo seems less likely to suffer this.

The article goes on to mention some very frank comments on what Nintendo expects for this holiday season.
