Starting with Clannad, the Xbox 360 has become an oddly appealing choice for Visual Novel console ports recently, most likely due to the PC-like nature of the platform and the subsequent ease of porting the code. Next up on the list is 5pb and Nitroplus’ horror-psychological Chaos;Head, which is also receiving an anime adaptation this fall.

The game centers around Shibuya, Tokyo, and some bizarre events taking place there such as group suicides and male pregnancies. Gristly murders and cute girls with oversized weaponry take the stage as Takumi Nishijou (You, understood) becomes exposed to more and more of these events and either ignores them or decends into madness. Your choice, of course. While we’ll never see this in English, at least we can look forward to the anime and watch for other odd platform choices by Japanese developers.

I was wondering when more male pregnancy games would come on the market. I’m always a fan of horror-psychological blends.
