Now Simon Cowell can tell YOU how much you suck

Well seems like the Konami folks are at it again with yet another music game, this time continuing the Karaoke Revolution series with a heavy americanized theme. Karaoke Revolution: Virtual American Idol puts you right there in the spotlight of the show you either love or hate. I must admit to seeing it from time to time.

But hell, I know you guys, this is probably all old news to you, what you probably dont know is that Konami is running a contest to choose an actual virtual American idol. They hit some malls all around the US and taped people playing the game, 10 finalists have been chosen and you can watch their auditions online and vote for them in the grand ritual of reality TV. Although I believe this is the first time we’re seeing Reality Gaming. You heard it here first!

Here’s a couple of my favorite videos:

Watch a couple of Booth Babes go completely crazy with the game and a virtual ass kicking by a virtual Simon Co well.

An LA girl, she seems to sing the best to me but the game still says she sucks, go figure!

And finally a Boston girl sings with more than a couple of mistakes yet Mr. Cowell is crazy for her.

You can watch more of the videos and vote for them or just make fun of appreciate the musical abilities of the contestants on the link at the bottom.
