NISA Announces Rhapsody DS, Hints More to Come

In a recent interview with RPGamer.com Nippon Ichi Software America defended Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice against criticisms that the game could have just as easily been run on a Playstation 2 rather than a Playstation 3, as well as let slip plans to release the Nintendo DS port of Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure in the US. The game is slated for a release in Japan in August, so expect a release date for the English version sometime soon!
NISA also advises us to keep our eyes and ears open on Friday:
We’ve got some surprise announcements to be made on June 6, 2008 at our San Francisco event, so please look forward to them. Also some of the games that you mentioned above…we are working on them right now.
Said games mentioned above include Mana Khemia 2, Ar Tonelico 2, and Cross Edge. We’ll keep you updated on what new titles are headed our way!

I loved Rhapsody on the ps1 (i still own it actually), and i’d love to give it another go on the DS.
I actually missed out on it its first time around, so I can’t wait to play it on the DS.
