The 2006 Nintendo FUSION Tour lineup has been announced along with Nintendo’s product showcase plans. Nintendo will be showcasing the DS Lite along with “a sneak peek of Nintendo’s upcoming console, Wii”.

What does a sneak peak mean? Hell if we know, but given Nintendo’s tradition of teasing the crowds there will probably be some play time there. They wouldn’t really mention it if there was only a video shown; Besides, playing = believing right Reggie?

As for the bands, the headlining band will be Hawthorne Heights, a band Nintendo describes as ‘emo-rock’. What better way to say ‘cheer up emo kid’ than with videogames?
