Breaking news, according to Nikkei, Nintendo purchased Monolith Soft, developers of the Baten Kaitos and Xenosaga series, from Bandai-Namco. The developer, formed from ex-Squaresoft employees, is currently developing Disaster: Day of Crisis for the Wii.
Wether Baten Kaitos and Xenosaga become new frontline Nintendo IP’s is unknown but now Nintendo owns a powerhouse of great RPG’s, and that, is great news.
