People dressed as Ninjas get free train rides during Mie prefecture ’s Ninja festival. In the ancient days the Iga village (in the now Mie Prefecture) was one of the biggest centers in japan when it came to the practice of ninjutsu. So from April 1 to May 6 everyone in ninja garbs gets a free train ride courtesy of the city. Never mind that a true ninja wouldn’t need to be given a free ride. He would ride free and you would never know it… if you’re lucky.

Talk about discrimination. What about the people who can’t afford a ninja costume.
