New Zelda for Wii in the works

According to CVG the latest issue of Game Informer magazine reports that their sources tell them the next Zelda installment for the Wii is already a year in development. Given past experience this means we could see a new Zelda in as little as two more years, remember a 3 year development cycle is short for a Zelda game.

The magazine also reports that Phantom Hourglass for the DS is delayed until October 2007. Should we still be surprised that a Zelda game gets delayed?
