Variety follows up on last year’s news that a new Street Fighter movie was in the works. This time announcing that Andrzej Bartkowiak is going to direct the film. This are bittersweet news, on the one hand Andrzej directed Romeo Must Die, which had sweet fighting scenes, on the other hand he directed DOOM, which… you know, sucked hard.
Personally, I’m happy the film wont have Van Damme but helplessly sad that it also wont have the best Bison ever, Raul Julia.

Is the Raul Julia part ironic? Not sure about that…
As for the movie… ggght, i have zero expectations. I want a good Chun Li here, seriously…
Now a Darkstalkers film would be even cheesier (and the more impossible as well)
Can you seriously imagine a better ironically funny Bison? I frankly cannot!
God, why do we need another Street Fighter film.
“But helplessly sad that it also wont have the best Bison ever, Raul Julia”.
That was sarcasm right Nahu? Please tell me it was. I feel sorry for the fella that this was his last film. What a way to go out.
STREET FIGHTER AND TEKKEN MOVIES.
The Street Fighter is coming back to the big screen with storyline based on Chun Li but this is just a silly rumour mostly the games are based on Ryu and Ken and Justin Marks should change the story and the plot to follow on Ryu and Ken storyline.
Tekken would be going to the big screen but Dwight H Little should not direct the film and Alan B McElroy,Mike Werb and Michael Colleary will have to leave the script and new screenwriters will rewrite the script and the story has to be based on Kazuya Mishima and his storyline from Tekken 1 game.
Thank You.
