In an recent interview with Famitsu, Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura announced a new Kingdom Hearts project which might make its way into either the PSP or the DS, from the interview:

Nomura: The multi-developing makes me want to put it on something else, without thinking. If we follow this idea, it would be hard to choose if to make the game for the “PSP”, “NDS” or the cell phone.

Nomura states that this game would be an “anecdote”, meaning a side story, focusing on Mickey Mouse and what he did in the World of Darkness and how he got his keyblade. That means no Sora for all you fangirls. The interview also says that this game would most likely have a different gameplay system, which makes me think it will more likely appear on the DS. Fans, add this to your list of games to import or pray for it to make its way over to this continent.
