New Fist of the North Star Gameplay Trailer Will Beat You Senseless

KOEI, widely known for their free-roaming, button mashing, hack n’ slash titles has just released a new trailer for the upcoming Fist of the North Star title slated to hit Asian markets on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 later this year. Similar to what you would find in games like Dynasty Warriors or Kingdom Under Fire, KOEI’s Fist of the North Star is all about mowing down wave after wave of baddies in an unrelenting and brutal manner.
While any plans to release the title in North America has yet to be determined, one thing is for certain: this one is sure to melt the face buttons off of your controller.

It’s a shame that it looks like another Dynasty Warriors total conversion. I guess we shouldn’t have expected more from Koei. Argh! Imagine how much cooler it would be if Team Ninja, Platinum games, or even Sony Santa Monica got tasked to do this.
Koei has fun games but their fun doesn’t last long enough.

What? No “You are already dead” attack in the trailer? There’s no Fist of the North Star without that!
For some of us that play many things except proper videogames, i think i could try it. I expect it to be better than the “300″ PSP game that came with my unit.
