Gainax is trying to make up for 11 years of evangelion silence with more details about the four new movies in the works. The films will all be under the name of Rebuild of Evangelion, followed by Part 1, 2, 3 and the last being called Conclusion. Which, quite frankly, shouldn’t mean much to fans since we all know how final The End of Evangelion was.

For the first 3 parts some the filming and animation will be re-done from the original series while Conclusion will be completely new, whatever that means. Part 1 is set for release summer 2007, part 2 early 2008 and parts 3 and 4 will come out together early summer 2008. The series also promises to reveal new facts previously unknown. You mean a new series means new content?! Groundbreaking!
