More on the new low-fat E3!

e3-logo.jpgMore info keeps flowing about E3, the event’s name will not be the ridiculous E3Expo as some had claimed. The new event will be titled E3 media festival and has a targeted audience of 5,000. This year’s E3 had an audience of 60,000! It is still unclear who will make up those lucky 5,000. Some speculate a major decrease in media attendance, other believe that its the many small retail agents that will be left out.

Whichever it is there is no doubt the next E3 will be but a shadow of what it was. Still, that does not mean the quality of information released during E3 will greatly diminish. Nintendo has already stated it will attend the next E3, EA has done the same. Microsoft and Sony’s stances are still unclear. What is clear is that we might never again see such a display of gaming decadence as this:
