Ah, SNK, your latest games have been really awe-inducing, but this one might get the claps if it’s really released in the Americas. DOKI DOKI MAJO SHINPAN!, a game we had been keeping our eyes on, gets an English website. It includes what other gaming websites do: Images, Plot, Characters, and a blog to keep you updated.
Does having a webpage in English means it will be released in English-speaking countries? Not really. Also, the translation is as broken as K’ from KOF XI or Magneto from MVC 2, so this is either the real deal with poor translators or this is just to show us the meat but denying service to foreigners. . .We can only wait.
Check the website yourself! HERE.

How about ecchi will never make it stateside, unfortunately. Maybe if it came out on PC but I don’t see it materializing on the DS here though.
Who the fuck would want a pedophile simulator? Going around touching lolis in their danger zones? No way! I don’t want this game coming to America!
The fact that the Ecchi genre will most likely not make it to the US is not a matter of the game being good, bad or just inappropriate, it is a matter of censorship and the breaking of the first amendment. I don’t want the government to censor what can be seen, heard or read. I want the population to do so.
And if it happens that the game were to come to the states and sell a million copies… or none… it would certainly show the nature of the populate, for better or worse.
It should also be noted that more often than not reality hurts, and obviously sex sells, a lot. And so it does violence, but for some reason violence seems unimportant by US standards and it’s widely accepted.
Bull. I think when it comes to a game where you fondle little girls that it’s ok for the government to censor it.
I just hope to God that everyone thought just like you and even if that game(or any other like it) made it stateside nobody would buy it.
Realistically though that would not be the case.
Using the same reasoning I’m sure you would agree the government should also censor games like Resident Evil, Halo, Gears of War, God of War and the like.
Just be a thoughtful and informed consumer and buy things according to your standards. I’m pretty sure the government has more important things to take care of than applying censorship.
State censorship of any kind is never good. I dont care if someone’s trying to sell nazi propaganda filled incest child molestation videos, the population should assess what it wants and what it does not want.
And while I stand along you L, against child molestation as does Secho DB, I must point out the huge discrepancy between censoring sex and sensoring violence in the US. How is it ok for racist hate mongering groups to release FPS games in the US and be protected by the 1st amendment and a game like this to be sensored? Either sensor both (dear Eris I hope not) or sensor neither and expose this to the population who, disgusted as they might be, well then be better equiped to make a better choice.
Fantasy != reality.
While I am abhorred about the existence of pedophilia IRL (heck, I’m from Ireland, it’s been big news for the past few years), I would have no problems whatsoever with this “perverted” sim. Hell, I find it amazing that a Japanese product would have characters that look loli AND are identified as being actual loli-age!
Hmm… when I heard of ecchi video game, I always think of the now obsolete Sega Saturn.
Seriously, an ecchi game on a Nintendo hardware? Unthinkable!
(Those bootleg pornograhic games on NES don’t count though, since Nintendo never approved them.)
But don’t worry, if Nintendo of America (which is notorious for its censorship) doesn’t kill it, the PROTECT act will.
By the way, while I agree that most government censorship is bad, I think one has to draw the line somewhere. That line is child pornography. Everywhere in the world shuns child porn, not just America, including Japan and those liberal Scandinavians. The reason is clear: child porn hurts children, and what we’ve done to children they will do to the society.
The only question is, does anime style drawn child pornography count as child porn? Can it has impact on viewer the same way real child porn has? Can people who enjoy shota/loli porn go out and rape real children?
America seems to have answered those questions…
…For us. Which is another form of telling us what’s SUPPOSED to be good for us, without letting us decide. Now, we’re talking about an “ecchi-like” game, not a “porn” game, which basically means it’ll give you at most some innuendo for something “perverted-buy-funny” and never go into showing boobs, genitalia, or assume some sort of sexual act.
Now, those last questions are best analyzed if you really know the real barrier between CP and drawn lolicon. In my opinion, I doubt it can have the same impact on the viewer if he/she saw some anime loli and then the real deal. Can people who enjoy shota.loli go out an rape? Well they, CAN, but they SHOULD NOT and they’re NOT OBLIGUED to do it just by the fact that they enjoy it.
We can do an exact same comparison with violence stuff (one of the major contradictions about censorship the US government has): Can people who watch movies with guns and killings go out and kill people? Yes they can, but they shouldn’t and by watching them doesn’t necessarily makes them killers.
It’s the same. . .yet killers are given less jail sentences than people with child offences. Broken.
DTRY: Agreed, although the case with child pornography is different from fictional endevors. For one CP is direct evidence of abuse against a minor while drawings are not. In some cases they might indicate people with tendency to it, but sadly/thankfuly one of the basis for modern justice systems is that we dont criminalize intent but action.
I used to think lolicon and pedophilia where very related but over the years I’ve found out that most lolicon fans dont find real childs attractive, hell, a good share of them have a 2D complex and wont find any human attractive.
This is becoming a most interesting discussion thanks to your comments! Go you guys!
“How to make witches heart beating”
It may be just me, but i think this doesn’t sound much like rape or anythin’. Besides, there is nothing i would call “explicit” to see on the screen shots.
Y’ know, rumor has it that there are girls in the world who actually enjoy caress ‘n stuff ;-)
Besides, the “molestation” as y’ call it seems not to be all the game is about and overall it looks like a rather cute dating sim to me.
Games are about fun and stuff, that it ends once again in a discussion about censorship and witch-hunt (Nerd-hunt or Loli-Maniac-hunt to be precise) just sucks.
I must agree with a few arguments, I think this game would have the same effect to people in the way it works, as a violence game would. Not to be the bearer of news that no one will care about, but the links between Video Games and actual actions are completely theoretical:
there’s no clear link between Violence video games and murders. In some cases people have plead that a video game provoked their actions, but to me that plea is about as good as temporary insanity: fairly stupid. Other hentai games have been leaked through to the US and to surprisingly little use, and sales, and as for this game? As a US citizen of any sort your shouldn’t be worried, I don’t have an actual statistic, but most of the nintendo DS® owners are children. Children don’t have money of their own, their parents pay for all their video games. If the game is released in the US, the fear would be if children got it…. Possible pornographical problems, some Christians would get pissed, a senator would make a pointless speech about it, and Walmart would get raided by the S.A.S. unless you work at Walmart, no problem right? Hehe… trying to lighten things up with that last part. Don’t worry, Britain’s Special Air Service isn’t doing any raids on your local Walmart… Who Dares Wins. Anyways, don’t I wouldn’t let this become a huge problem, few games like this breech the US, and those that do, are never acknowledged, it’s the same thing here. Peace out.
Crader forgot about 1 think u can download it off the internet
