Recently today we learned that the keynote speaker at this year’s Game Developer’s Conference will be Shigeru Miyamoto. The megaton semaphore on this is green so dont expect any big announcements. Miyamoto will, however, spend his time in the stage talking about his experience in the industry since the days of the Famicom to the development of the Wii and the DS. Attending from Nintendo will also be my second favorite video game composer Koji Kondo (Zelda, Mario, Starfox, you name it) and the mastermind behind most of Zelda, Eiji Aonuma.
As unreasonable as it to expect something big to happen, this past 2 years of high expectations every time someone at Nintendo opened their mouths have me hoping in a deep place of my heart for some industry-shattering revelation. Nintendo ON?! Oh, excuse me, war flashbacks.
