The Japanese will do anything for a laugh, unexplainable as it may be. So I’ve learned to stop asking why and just embrace their weirdness. Such is the case with this replica of Jamiroquai’s famous Virtual Insanity video with Hatsune Miku as the star. Is there a back story behind it? No, but who cares! The video is painstakingly accurate in recreating Jay Kay’s oh-so-smooth moves. There’s even a comparison video which you simply must watch. Its after the jump.
Man that sure sends me down memory lane, btw, in the original video the walls are moving, not the floor. There, mystery solved.

I am definitely impressed, but it doesn’t provide me with that same “wow” factor as the actual Jamiroquai video did. Still funny though.
How and where the hell did you find this Nahu?
A friend linked me to it.
i’m starting to get scared by Japan and technology applied to anime….
Very sweet. There’s another video like this where Miku is inserted in to The Matrix Reloaded’s Burly Brawl.
Ahhh Miku, is there anything you can’t do…
Oh god do want.
wait, wasn’t that friend me? or even pseudonym?
No sir, it was desudesu
