Miku Dances To Your Groove Thanks To Kinect Homebrew

The Kinect homebrew scene just keeps impressing, coders everywhere continue to plug support for the device into their projects and it’s fast becoming the cheapest 3D camera and motion capture device around. Just take a look at this implementation of Kinect into Miku Miku Dance, effortless motion capture in just a few clicks.

As silly as this may look the possibilities for indie game designers and animators to use this for low budget motion capture is amazing! Kinect may not have really good games but at least it’s open the door to a lot of neat things.

That’s kinda really awesome. It’s pretty cool what happens when space-age technology gets all consumer-priced.
