Microsoft Selling AoE III For 10 Cents Via The GFW Marketplace

Microsoft is really pushing its ‘Steam killer’ with the new Games For Windows Marketplace client and while it’s more or less a horrible client there’s at least one deal that cannot be beat. Microsoft is selling Age of Empires III for 10 cents if you purchase it via the Marketplace client. At this price you can get it for yourself and 9 other friends and have a blast with multiplayer for a few days all for a dollar. Then you can uninstall the client and go back to Steam, GoG and the rest of the nicer digital game stores.

Not so fast there with the recommendation. The product page lists that the game is single player with no mention of multiplayer. I wasn’t aware of a multiplayer-less version of the game.

Microsoft should totally make a Game for Windows for Mac.
