It seems like Metroid Prime 3 might not be coming out as soon as we expected. In an interview with MTV News, Reggie Fils-Aime discussed the apparent drought of games the Wii is suffering. He brushed off the problem stating that Nintendo was looking to deliver new titles at the best strategic times, which really doesn’t say much at all.

Specifically concerning Metroid Prime 3, Reggie recurred to the ol’ ‘it will be ready when its ready’ and ‘a good delayed game will always be good but a bad game will always be bad’ Nintendo mantra, adding “And if that’s a little later than folks would have liked, I’m hoping they’re going to be happy.” Sure its bleak news but don’t write Samus out just yet.
