Mega Man 2.5D Brings A New Dimension To An Old Classic
Wednesday 3 June 2009 @ 8:57 pm | By Ivan 'Nahu' Lozano 7 CommentsLets get away from E3 for a bit to watch something that wasn’t made by a big company, no multi-million dollar budget, hell its not even exactly legal. This is Mega Man 2.5, a homebrew game in development by Peter Sjostrand. The game, much like Paper Mario, gives a 3D twist to a 2D word. Based mainly on Mega Man 2 with a co-op mode based on Mega Man 3. This is the kind of project that shows the talent of rogue homebrew developers, too bad most of them don’t survive a Cease and Desist from the original company.
Capcom, give this guy a job, I’d pay for this.

If I remember right this has been a work in progress for a while now. I hope this doesn’t get killed like some other games we know. (Thanks square enix -koff koff-)
this is all kinds of awesome O__O
Really awesome indeed!
Although the Megaman / Protoman game reminded me more of N+ CoOp.
It has such great potential. I say capcom should give this guy the tools he needs to port it to xbl and psn. then he can LEGALLY continue making it :p
Hahaha I agree with that, the game seems very cool >o< ooohh it make me remember the old times ;.;
I’d like to see it on the Wii Virtual Channel. Hopefully no C&D so he can up it to a homebrew forum.
The C&D is sadly almost a given.
