Mark your calendars! HL2: Orange Box dated!

It has been confirmed late last night that Half-Life 2: The orange box will be released across all available platforms on October 9, 2007. This will include the original Half-Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress Classic. It will retail for 49.99 on the PC and 59.99 on both the PS3 and Xbox 360. Details have yet to be revealed for the Steam online distribution system, but we expect there will be options to buy things separately for those of us who haven’t been under a rock the last several years and already own Half-Life 2 and Episode 1.
